CNC Swiss Lathe Machining
Swiss screw machining is a technique originally developed for tiny watch components–and its high precision and efficiency have since been adopted across many different industries, including hydraulics. At Hanel, we utilize several multi-axis, multi-spindle, horizontal, and vertical CNC Swiss lathes to achieve tight tolerances on all our products. These machines are excellent for creating complex parts with multiple features and complicated geometries to suit the needs of our customers.
CNC Centerless & In-Feed Grinding
This unique manufacturing technique uses two wheels to remove material from a workpiece to create a rounded part–a valuable process for hydraulic spools and other components. We have several types of OD centerless grinding machines, which offer more flexibility in processing the whole part or a specific section as required for the design. The workpiece is supported by a spindle or other fixture which feeds the part into the machine between the two grinding wheels.
Horizontal CNC Machining
On the hydraulics side of our company, we have several horizontal machining centers featuring large workspaces and equally large table sizes. We have multi-axis horizontal machining capabilities for producing highly accurate manifolds and other products according to customer designs and requirements.
