Ferrol Pins / Barb Pins
Driv-Lok’s Barb & Ferrol pin and stud designs have been trusted fastening solutions for several decades. These types of fasteners provide positive fastening and replacement of conventional screws, barbed nails, and other traditional fasteners. Typically, Ferrol and Barb pins are used in plastic applications, but they are also an excellent choice for some metals where the assembly cannot come loose or be tampered with. They are made from low-carbon steel, stainless steel, or aluminum and then plain or zinc plated, with other finishes available upon request.
All Ferrol and Barb pins are made to order, and the Barb pins can come with barbs on one or both ends. Studs are also available in a wide range of dimensions, with the option to be ordered to specifications. Pins come in two style types, and studs can be either flat head or round head.
